All-In Leicester

We’re a group of local people and arts organisations in Leicester that seek to improve accessibility in the city and increase consistency of accessibility across venues.

The All-In Leicester group is a group of people with varying accessibility requirements from different backgrounds. All-In Leicester is a fully inclusive group and we provide BSL at our venue and event reviews.

Through partnerships with organisations and groups of the disabled and D/deaf communities, we’re looking forward to making Leicester a place where everyone can be All-In everywhere.

We’re aiming to make Leicester more accessible and inclusive – so everyone can be All-In. As a group, we’re meeting on a regular basis to assess accessibility in Leicester’s cultural venues and how to increase awareness of and improve accessibility standards.

Each month we visit a different venue around the city to investigate, explore and assess ways in which each venue could improve its accessibility. We also celebrate good accessibility and share new ideas with the venues to encourage further use of positive practise. Improving access to cultural engagement so that we can be All In.

All are welcome, especially those with access needs – we need your help to make these as representative as possible! We do ask for a week’s notice for access considerations, so we can work with the venue to get things in place ahead of the audit.

We warmly welcome everyone to join our group.
