LCB delivers a year-round programme of exhibitions, events, talks and workshops, including work directly curated/produced by LCB or in partnership with sector partners, key brands, networks and HE.
We utilise our Lightbox gallery space, our meeting rooms and cafe/event space and our courtyard garden to exhibit and promote works from across the creative industries and to celebrate and inspire creative enterprise
Our creative programme’s exhibition and events programme includes work from different sub-sectors across the creative industries led by LCB and delivered in partnership with independent arts producer Vehicle Arts.
Our exhibition open calls secure work from local, national, and international artists and creatives.
We encourage and support partners and participants to have an enterprising approach – the more you put in the more you get out!
Design Season
Design Season is a festival of design that occurs every October across the city showcasing leading designers from all fields based in Leicester and beyond.

The 2020 edition featured our Design Showcase exhibition that brought together work from different design disciplines.
LCB Showcase Winners
Every year LCB Depot awards three artists from Leicester Museums and Art Gallery’s Open exhibition a year-long exhibition in our meeting rooms. Currently on show are the artists selected from 2024/25 Open Exhibition – Emma Peers in the Courtyard Room, Katie Richards in the Garden Room and Moya Acton in the Old Gallery.
